Is science faith-based?
Answer lies here “…To say that we have to take science on faith is such a gross misunderstanding of how science works that it can only be uttered by someone who is wholly ignorant of how reality works…” This should be reuired reading for everyone. Religious or not.
Please note this video is very graphic, to all viewers. However it is very informative and everyone should watch it.

MA... Liberal, Gay, and NOT DIVORCED
Via The New York Times: If blue states care less about moral values, why are divorce rates so low in the bluest of the blue states? It’s a question that intrigues conservatives, as much as it emboldens liberals. As researchers have noted, the areas of the country where divorce rates are highest are also frequently the areas where many conservative Christians live. Kentucky, Mississippi and...
Why so many are unsatisfied with the economy
By: Steve Benen on Tuesday, August 21st, 2007 at 6:04 PM - PDT The right frequently seems genuinely mystified as to why so many Americans tell pollsters how unsatisfied they are with the economy. Bush and his allies frequently say, “Look at GDP and unemployment rates! You guys should be thrilled! What kind of idiots are you people?” Maybe news like this will help conservatives better understand...

"A Modern Man" by George Carlin
Im a modern man, a man for the millennium. Digital and smoke free. A diversified multi-cultural, post-modern deconstruction that is anatomically and ecologically incorrect. Ive been up linked and downloaded, Ive been inputted and outsourced, I know the upside of downsizing, I know the downside of upgrading. Im a high-tech low-life. A cutting edge, state-of-the-art bi-coastal multi-tasker and I can...

Florida Keeps NTSB busy.
Whats up with Florida this week? There was 5 people killed in a plane crash on Tuesday in Sanford, when a cessna crashed into a house. There was a small twin-engine plane that crashed in a field near Lockheed Martin’s test facility in Orlando, on Wednesday. There was a fire at a ramp control tower in Miami that was under construction, on Wednesday as well. There was an ultralight aricraft...

Health Care in the US, or rather lack thereof.
Now, I am going to go a bit out of my typical post. I haven’t posted in a while, so I figure, what the hell. I just finished watching Michael Moore’s new film SiCKO and it has brought up some interesting points. Now I know you are crawling in your seat “Michael Moore is very unreliable, and slants the truth” and I want you to know that I took the data information he gave,...

Microsoft is dead... YEA RIGHT!
Microsoft last week announced quarterly revenue of $14.4 billion and net income of $4.93 billion. In other words, Microsoft’s daily net income is about $55 million. That’s $55 million in pure profit every 24 hours. Do some quick math and you’ll learn it takes Microsoft only about… 10 hours or so (yes, hours!) to exceed Red Hat’s (Linux OS) (NYSE: RHT) quarterly net...
